1. Introduction

JGraphite is a simple and easy to use application that converts photos into black and white images with just a few clicks.

A nice looking black and white photo is not only effect of image desaturation. The key to success is a correct image tone modification. JGraphite allows user to select one of predefined image tone curves or to create one manually.

Also the final effect can be significantly improved by application of vignetting effect. In JGraphite the amount of vignetting may be easily adjusted by just one mouse click.
